His academic interests include medical simulation and he regularly teaches in the UCLA Simulation Center. Health care workers from across the country, and occasionally from around the world, come to UCLA to participate in this program.

Dr. Lee will work closely with VA leadership and our VA-based faculty to build on the solid foundation of educational excellence for our trainees, as well as faculty. Dr. Lee will continue in his role as associate program director of the UCLA Internal Medicine Residency Program. We look forward to an even stronger partnership between the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System.
