Description
Ovarian cancer strikes 22,000 women per year. Often undiagnosed until Stage 3 or 4, it kills 14,000 of them. But there is hope, and you can become part of a cure.
Join the Ovarian Cancer Circle on Sunday, May 1, at 7 pm for “Happily Ever Laughter”– a buffet dinner, an evening of comedy, and a silent auction at The World Famous Comedy Store. All proceeds support the pioneering work of Dr. Sanaz Memarzadeh, a UCLA clinician-scientist who discovered why ovarian cancer recurs after treatment in 50 percent of patients and what may bring a more lasting cure.
The Ovarian Cancer Circle/Inspired by Robin Babbini, who died from ovarian cancer at the age of 20, is dedicated to raising national awareness of this deadly disease and funding research that will lead to its early detection and successful treatment.
