On November 17, designated “World Prematurity Day” by the March of Dimes, The Birthplace at UCLA Medical Center, Santa Monica invites breast-feeding moms to donate their extra milk at its annual breast milk drive. Just one ounce of breast milk can feed a premature infant for two days, and there are many families in need. The event also features infant massage, consults with a lactation specialist, and Urban Zen integrative therapy.
