Please join the DGSOM First Gen Organization and the DGSOM Office of Inclusive Excellence in welcoming our incoming First Gen MS1's and celebrating our FG connections on Thursday, August 13th at 5:30PM at GHB36.

This marks the 9th year that we are holding our annual First Gen community mixer!!

We encourage all DGSOM First Gen current students, post-docs, residents, fellows, faculty, and staff to attend this event, where we celebrate our identity and intersectionality-- as those who were in the first generation of our families to attend college.

In addition to honoring our incoming First Gen students, we will hear from a special keynote speaker and provide opportunities to get to know one another. We hope you will be with us in person to connect, empower, and celebrate the First Gen community in medicine.
