Carolyn Crandall, MD Elected to Mastership of the American College of Physicians
The department of medicine congratulates Dr. Carolyn Crandall on her election to mastership of the American College of Physicians. This distinguished honor is awarded to a select group of candidates who have distinguished achievements in the practice of internal medicine, contributions to the specialty, and service to the American College of Physicians.
Dr. Carolyn Crandall is an internal medicine physician who has served on the UCLA School of Medicine faculty since 1994. Dr. Crandall completed her undergraduate studies at Pomona College in California and her MD degree at UCLA. She completed her internal medicine training and Master of Science in Clinical Research at UCLA. Her clinical and research interests are menopause and osteoporosis. She is actively involved in graduate and medical education. She lectures frequently to physicians and other health care providers regarding menopause, menopausal hormone therapy, and osteoporosis.
