I thought maybe I couldn't eat post surgery, but I was on regular food right away even in the hospital. There was a little soreness in my throat, but that was it, nothing really uncomfortable. Surgery was two weeks ago, they kept me overnight. to monitor me because of a history of high blood pressure. My surgery was at UCLA Santa Monica. I had never been there. They must have a top chef in the kitchen! I was immediately as active as I wanted to be. I had a very good doctor, Dr. Livhits, she explained everything to me so I understood everything. Some doctors like to talk in doctor terms. She told me what she was going to do and how and it was very understandable.
