Excessive Calcium Gone

UCLA Health article

I found out from my endocrinologist that I needed a parathyroidectomy done. I have a strong aversion to surgery but my doctor decided that the adenoma on the parathyroid was large enough to potentially cause problems to the nearby area so it had to be surgically removed. I was then referred to Dr. Livhits by my endocrinologist for my surgery. I didn't feel a thing during my surgery because I was under anesthesia and my recovery process was also fine. I had no pain afterwards and only had pain from where the breathing tube was inserted. Dr. Livhits explained everything to me so there were no surprises. I'm glad I was able to go home the next day.
