I was diagnosed with Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia (MEN) Type 1, which is a condition that resulted in the development of multiple tumors on my parathyroid glands. MEN Type 1 is relatively rare among the population, so I wanted to make sure I found someone who frequently deals with condition and understands its nuances. Dr. Yeh came highly recommended to me when I was seeking surgery, and in retrospect he has made this process as pleasant as it could have been. He has monitored me closely since my first parathyroidectomy in 2009, performed my second parathyroidectomy a few years later, and followed up in person every year. As a distance patient from Alaska, Dr. Yeh has made himself available and accessible to answer any questions I had. I have found ease of communication to be a huge benefit, whether it be through the MyHealth portal or video conference calls. With regards to his surgical expertise, I have experienced little to no complications was able to get back to work with virtually no recovery time.

A unique aspect of Dr. Yeh’s approach is that he works hand in hand with various physicians, in order to collaborate and come to a consensus about the best course of treatment. They work well together, and I think that is a testament to the type of care that he is able to deliver. The comprehensive care I have received from him and his colleagues has been outstanding, and I would highly recommend Dr. Yeh to anyone. It’s important to find someone who is knowledgeable and capable, especially for a condition like my own.
