Description
his free, one-day community event invites the public to explore evidence-based mind-body practices that support emotional wellness. The program, a collaboration between the UCLA Center for East-West Medicine (CEWM) and CSC Health, features interactive cultural and arts-based activities rooted in the six senses: sight, sound, taste, touch, scent, and spirit.
Over the past five years, the partnership between CEWM and CSC Health has grown into a strong and meaningful collaboration within the community. This event highlights our partnership and showcases the work we have done together to bring cost-effective, self-care–based approaches to communities across the region. In celebration of AAPI (Asian American and Pacific Islander) Heritage Month and Mental Health Awareness Month, the goal of this event is to empower individuals with practical tools to support lifelong health and well-being.
Through engaging, hands-on experiences, participants will learn practical ways to incorporate sensory-based healing practices into daily life, fostering mind-body wellness and deeper community connection. Facilitated workshops will be held at scheduled times, complemented by interactive activity booths available throughout the event.
By offering creative, cross-cultural, and evidence-based approaches to mental health, Healing with the Senses creates an accessible and immersive space for the community to learn, connect, and heal together.
Please RSVP (here) by March 20, 2026, to reserve your internal workshop slot.
