Stanford Menopause Collaborative of Practice is presenting the First Annual Conference in Menopause and Health Aging. As women enter mid-life and approach menopause, they can experience a unique set of symptoms that can impact their quality of life and long term health risks. The goal of this conference is to help providers navigate this period of transition with their patients, always through a lens of
diversity with attention to social determinants of health.

Conference attendees will gain comfort in:

  • Managing vasomotor symptoms, genitourinary symptoms and sexual dysfunction in women
  • Counseling on sleep, mood and cognitive changes that can occur during the perimenopausal and menopausal transition
  • Understanding and treating concerns related to elevated cardiac risk, and bone and muscle loss that occur during midlife in women
  • Improving breast cancer risk assessment and care of cancer survivors
