On My Mind... Reflections from the Chair

Welcome to the UCLA Department of Medicine (DoM). With a 70-year history of innovation in education, research, and patient care, the DoM has grown to become the largest department of medicine in the UC system. Six of our clinical programs are nationally ranked within the top 10 in the 2024 U.S. News & World Report.

We take great pride in the achievements by staff, trainees, and faculty who advance our mission to lead in innovation, transform care, and advance health for all.  Our accomplished trainees learn alongside renowned faculty who chart bold new courses in biomedicine and healthcare delivery to move medicine forward.
