Thank a Resident Day: February 22

In 2018, the Gold Humanism Honor Society launched an annual resident-recognition day to honor residents for their invaluable efforts and dedication to our patients, students and their health care colleagues. As a participating chapter, UCLA is joining colleagues across the nation to say “Thank you!” to our medical residents.

Residency offers in-depth exposure to medical practice, and as such, often involves long working hours and a broad range of responsibilities. Residents and fellows are an integral part of our health care team, serving as an indispensable resource for medical students, especially during their clinical clerkships.

Celebrate and thank a resident by sharing your story.

Your story may be featured for Thank a Resident Day on UCLA Health social media channels.
