I’m Dr. William Carroll, and I'm a UCLA Health primary care physician in Westwood. Nine months into the coronavirus pandemic, I still get questions from my patients every day about when and why they need to wear a mask, and how to do so correctly. I created this video with my UCLA Health team to answer these questions.

If you're still on the fence about wearing a mask, I want to let you know that masks save lives. It is especially important during this winter holiday season for everyone to wear a mask when they're outside their home. This is how we can all do our part, and keep the pandemic contained.

If you have questions about COVID-19, UCLA Health has collected resources and information. You can also reach out to your primary care office with questions or call 310-825-2631 if you need a primary care physician. We are here to help.

*Note: This video was filmed in a private office.
