Hyperparathyroid Surgery

I had a history of kidney stones and high calcium diagnosed as a parathyroid issue. I was referred to Dr. Livhits and had one of my parathyroids successfully removed. Minimal post surgery issues included tenderness and soreness when swallowing and a lump on the throat, but slowly going away. My energy has improved since surgery. The procedure was simple and very patient friendly. I was given great care before, during and after surgery, I look at it as a minor inconvenience I did spend one night in the hospital post-op to monitor the parathyroid and calcium levels all of which resumed normal function quite quickly. Healing is fast and painless.
