Everything went very well this time. This time went really well and I am so happy about the experience. Hopefully my thyroglobulin levels will go down to 0. Everybody was good. Dr. Yeh as good and Jennifer was good.

A Plus

By Mary mariarodriguez4201

I work for an ENT. He was buying an ultrasound machine and was testing the machine on his staff. When it was my turn, he noticed a lymph node on the right side and then on the left. He told me I should see an endocrinologist. This was late in 2010. I was diagnosed with […]

Yay for Dr. Yeh and Team!

By ziggy ziggykruse2005

Around 7 years ago I was diagnosed with an overactive thyroid – I experienced symptoms of fatigue, irritability, and heat sensitivity. My physician monitored the condition for a while and put me on Mezamazoline, a thyroid hormone therapy. Through an ultrasound, the doctors found that I had a goiter and they tried performing a biopsy. […]

Second surgery

By Side of the Rice Field sideofthericefield

My original thyroidectomy was 5 1/2 years ago. My globulin was always too high so I had followups every 3 months. I had two rounds of radioactive iodine but it still did not kill the cancer. My lymph node was growing rapidly so my endocrinologist referred me to Dr. Yeh. He scheduled surgery within the […]

The Most Hesitant

By Maria thebestofbest1

I have been healthy all my life so finding out that I had a disease and needed surgery was very alarming to me. I didn’t want to believe it and started doing research on my computer. It all kept pointing back to surgery. But I was still hesitant as I had always believed surgery was […]
