Taking the Fight Against Cancer to National TV
Dennis Slamon, MD, chief of hematology/oncology at UCLA Health and Lilly Tartikoff, long-time activist in the fight against cancer, were invited to join Kelly Clarkson’s Rad Human segment on NBC’s The Kelly Clarkson Show. Together, they spoke about United Cancer Front — a cancer research initiative the two co-founded to make significant impacts in identifying and treating cancer.

Recently, Dr. Slamon won the Lasker Award for his groundbreaking development of Herceptin, a life-saving therapy for women with HER2-positive breast cancer.
