‘Love Working for UCLA Health’

“We all understand that we’re here for the patients, and we all want to help the patients,” explains Michelle Garcia Ortiz (pictured right), an administrative assistant UCLA Health Malibu with Michelle Aranda (pictured left). Aranda explains, “There’s an elderly lady who comes in every two weeks. She’s the sweetest person ever. We’ll chat about her nail appointments or her lipstick.” Nodding, Garcia Ortiz agrees, “You get attached to these patients. If you love helping people, you’re going to be in this field. It makes it easy to get up in the morning. I don’t want to sound cheesy, but I love working for UCLA Health.”
