Singing to Bring Smiles

“Petting the dogs is very, very therapeutic,” explains Lindsay Kim, a registered nurse at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. Lindsay enjoyed the People-Animal Connection dog teams as they visited each floor of the hospital and sang Christmas carols. She, specifically, loved cuddling with the volunteer pup Lola. “The PAC teams make everybody smile. The dogs make us smile, and they make the patients smile. We’re all happy to see them. I really believe the dogs help with the healing of the patients. You can see the animals and the patients form a bond. UCLA Health is the best place to work.”
