New Bear for Newborn
“It’s really nice to have people come here and show their love and support,” believes Evelyn Rodriguez, mother to five-month-old Aria Arce. “We had United Airlines come in and give her a bear named Ben Flyin. They also gave her a little passport, so when she travels, she can take Ben Flyin with her. We’re here at UCLA Medical Center, Santa Monica because she’s intolerant of her feeds. So we’ve been here trying to have her gain some weight. We’re in good hands here. Everyone is so friendly and supportive. It feels good to know that people think about our children when they’re sick or down.”
