Send a personalized greeting card

A new — and free — greeting card service gives patients’ loved ones another way to show how much they care. Users can go online and browse cards by category, customize the message and choose to have the greeting card either emailed or printed and hand-delivered to the patient. Card categories express various sentiments, including congratulations on a new baby, wishes to get well, birthday wishes, messages for kids, thank you and thinking of you. “With this new service, a patient’s friends and family can let their loved one know they are thinking of them during their stay with us,” says Silva Thomas, director of Care Extenders. “Our volunteers are pleased to provide this convenient service free of charge and hopefully help to bring a smile to a patient’s face.” The cards can be sent to patients admitted to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital or UCLA Medical Center, Santa Monica. Greeting cards will be delivered Monday through Friday by UCLA Health volunteers. To learn more about patient greeting cards, visit: https://www.uclahealth.org/ecards
