Fall Gathering & Food Drive
“The Fall Feast is an event we look forward to every year,” reveals Aurora Reyes (not pictured) Director for Career Development and Wellbeing at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. “We bring together a community of students, faculty, and staff to share a warm meal and enjoy each other’s company. This year we are welcoming Jordan Daniel, who is part of the indigenous community. She is going to acknowledge that we’re on occupied lands and honor the history of the Tongva people, who were the original settlers of this land. In addition to that, we do a food drive to benefit our UCLA Bruin Shelter. It’s a wonderful opportunity for our students to give back.”
