One Center, Close to Home

“In Los Angeles, with traffic, 20 miles can be an hour and a half of driving, so we want to facilitate patients to have UCLA quality care close to home,” explains Dr. Erin Mellano, a urogynecologist at UCLA Health Torrance and the Center for Women's Pelvic Health at UCLA. “I see patients for gynecologic and female public medicine issues, like bladder issues, prolapse, female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. From a female public health perspective, our clinic allows patients to have access to both urology aspects and gynecology aspects, all within one center. Being in South Bay also makes it easier for patients to get care closer to home.”
