Each Person Makes a Difference

“We’re a community practice close to home,” declared Ukarjit Kaur, clinic manager of the UCLA Health Burbank Primary & Specialty Care clinic. “I think it’s more effective and more efficient patient care for patients to come here. If you live in the valley you don’t want to go to Westwood for a simple return visit, so it’s nice to be part of this community.
I like seeing people come in upset or ill and leave so happy because we have amazing physicians. When you see the human touch that we give, you know you’re making a difference. I have a family who has been saved by UCLA Health, so I stand behind everything UCLA stand for, and I’ve seen the impact it has and how each of us plays a role. I’m not a physician, but each person here is part of a team and each person makes a difference.”
