New Skills for Same Level of Patient Care

By uclahealth

“UCLA Health has over 200 clinics, we go to the clinics to make sure that they are at the same standards to provide the best patient care for the community,” says Jesica Suarez, a practice coordinator for the ambulatory nursing department. “I love being an ambulatory nurse. Working in the clinics allows me to work more with the community. My role is administrative, but when I go to clinics I teach the staff. We always start with new skills, and that’s very rewarding. It’s always about patient care. We make sure the care we provide in the clinics is as excellent as our inpatient care.”
