Support at Work

“It’s a great thing for people to come out and just be able to be themselves,” says Michael Hernandez, a volunteer from UCLA Health who works for the OB/GYN and neurology units. “As an openly gay Latino man, I love being part of PRIDE because I know for some people it’s still a struggle coming out. I love that UCLA Health has a huge LGBTQ department. I love having support not only outside of work but even at work.”
