A long overdue thank you. On Oct 12, 1968, I was involved in a motorcycle accident on UCLA property and was taken to UCLA Hospital Emergency. I was treated by Dr. Alexakis and staff for the next 17 months for a compound fracture of both bones in my lower left leg. I just want Dr. Alexakis know that now at 71 I lead an active life with no particular problems with my leg. I never won a leg beauty contest but it has functioned quite well. I could still beat my son at handball into my 40's. Thanks to you and the great staff.
Warmest regards,
Richard B
