Helping ‘Unique You’
“I believe the stress of modern living is really damaging us,” says Dr. Howard Murad, Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine and Dermatology at UCLA Health who published ‘Understanding the Stress of Modern Living’. “One of the things we can do to make a huge difference in our life is act more and more like the toddler we used to be. Today we’re doing art therapy. Everyone’s art today looks beautiful, and everyone did it his or her own way. At the Simms/Mann UCLA Center for Integrative Oncology, we want to allow that inner child to come out and be creative and gregarious. ‘Allow the unique you to blossom’ is a big phrase for me. Allow yourself to be the best that you can be.”
