Trust UCLA and Your Doctors
I met with Dr. Livhits and she explained that I had a tumor on my adrenal gland. Having the tumor removed would regulate my potassium levels and blood pressure, so she recommended surgery. I am visiting 10 days following surgery and my blood pressure has gone down. My potassium level has improved and is getting very close to the target potassium level.
Everyone at UCLA has done a great job keeping my body going, and they truly know what they are doing. I'm in better shape than when I came. You only have 1 body and you have to take good care of it, so I did that by listening to my doctors.
