Parathyroid 2.0
About 15 years ago, I had surgery on my left upper parathyroid.
In December 2017, I had neck pains, stiffness and difficulty swallowing. I went to urgent care and they found nodules on my right side. I saw my endocrinologist in early 2018 and had a number of tests done. A biopsy showed the nodules were benign but blood work showed my calcium levels were high and also my parathyroid hormone. I was referred to Dr. Livhits.
The surgery was 2 weeks ago. This is my first check up. The surgery went well and I am healing fine. UCLA has been great. Dr. Livhits, the nurses, the receptionist and everyone (even the parking attendants) are great!
