After 11 years of dialysis, I had a kidney transplant in October 2017. They found I had problems with my parathyroid so I had surgery for that.
My calcium was high so in February 2018 I had surgery as my thyroid cancer had spread to my lymph nodes.
The hospital staff at UCLA was very good, My surgeon Dr. Livhits was great. She is very thorough, patient and concerned. She wants questions and she listens to you. There is only 1 like her! Some surgeons are pretentious but she is not. She is excellent!
