Hip Replacement Surgery

By Mike Costanza

I had much needed right hip replacement surgery on Monday the 8th at UCLA. My experience was fantastic the Dr's and nurses who took care of me could not have been better. I am a cancer survivor so my history dictated a different path to get thru the surgery. Dr. Kamdar the lead anesthesiologist was indepseisible to me leading up to Mondsy and then getting me thru the surgery. He was simply awesome can't say enough good things

The surgeon Dr. Johnson was fantastic and all the nurses post surgery were top notch dealing with a bunch of post surgery pain with simply the best approach and care imaginable

I was home in 3 days and have already PT and recovery. All looks really good!

My thanks to the UCLA team

It was a pleasure to care for you. We had a great team from our PEPC clinic that arranged many things behind the scenes for you the day of the surgery. I’m glad that the outcomes and experience went well. Have a good recovery!!
