Left Adrenalcortical Carcinoma Surgery
In early January 2017 I was diagnosed with a 12 cm tumor on my left adrenal gland and referred to Dr. Yeh and Dr. Livhits. One trip to UCLA resulted in an immediate surgery scheduled as well as a same day consult with Dr. Michael Wong, an oncologist specializing in this type of rare cancer. The doctors arranged for me to have an epidural placed and even with a 12 inch incision I had absolutely NO post-op pain! Post-op I am undergoing chemotherapy locally since Dr. Wong arranged it so that I don't have to drive up to UCLA. Having worked in the medical field for thirty years, I can not express how wonderful care they have given me!!!
