For practically five years my calcium levels have consistently increased. I saw three endocrinologists, none of whom could locate a growth on any scan. The last one said the issue could be found so she referred me to Dr. Yeh. I saw Dr. Yeh and after an ultrasound and seistimebe scan he found the growth immediately and said I was a candidate for parathyroid surgery. I ended up spending the night in the hospital due to the late hour which is atypical. Now I expect to have normal calcium levels. I'll follow up with my local endocrinologist.
