I am searching for a way

By Kathyg46

My story started in May of 2012 I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon cancer, so far I have had 3 surgeries to remove tumor in colon 2012, tumor in pelvic area, 2013, resection in right lung 2014. And of course, chemo for life. Current update, is large tumor attached to pelvic bone the size of a fist that had radiation in Aug of 2016, stopped pain for awhile but now is back. It never shrunk. My last chemo was Sep 27 which I got so sick for three weeks and am now back on my week and trying to gain strength. Oh, but here is the kicker, I also have a Braf mutation to complicate my cancer. There must be someone else like me, although I hope not. If your story is like mine please respond. I don't know where to go anymore, I still want to try to have what normal of a life I can have, maybe another 2 years. Willing to do trials, already had one, but is there something else other than chemo, chemo chemo. I just hate that word. And of course I only have Medicare and a very strong belief in GOD. If you have something positive I should know of please respond. Thank you and I wish all of you the very best with this disease, keep strong and positive. You can do this.............. Kathy
