My life is so much better! More energy, more quality time spent with family and freinds

C.M.'s Story

Total Lost: 75 pounds*

I am genetically predisposed to being overweight. My poor eating habits and lack of physical activity only made my situation worse. A knee injury and subsequent back and hip pain made weight loss surgery a real consideration for me. After much research, I was pleased with what I learned about Dr. Dutson and his program at UCLA.

My surgery went according to plan. The Doctors who attended post surgery as well as the nurses on the floor were great! Even after I went home, I found great comfort in being able to contact Dr. Dutson's staff with any dietary concerns I had.

This is a life saving procedure, or as they put it, a "tool" for weight loss that saved my life. I used the tool they gave me and my life is so much better! More energy, more quality time spent with family and friends. Those pluses and better health, make the decision for bariatric surgery a no-brainer as long as it's performed by a physician at UCLA.
