L in UCLA is for Legacy

By uclahealth

66-year old Abdus Sattar Kapadia has been a dedicated Bruin ever since he moved from London to Los Angeles. Abdus was an accountant at UCLA and continued to work when diagnosed with colon cancer. When the cancer spread from his colon to his liver, Abdus retired. "They’ve done everything to help me. UCLA is the best in the world!” Abdus’ daughter, Sara Kapadia adds, “He has a legacy at UCLA. He always charms everybody at the hospital and everybody knows him because he’ll bring in plants and roses."
