I have been really suffering with major menstrual issues for ten years For years I had many different visits with many different doctors at another medical group that never came up with a solution to my problem. I was trying to avoid surgery. I finally gave up and decided that I would switch to UCLA Medical Group. I'm glad that I did.
My first experience with my doctor at UCLA was relieving. She listened to me and to what I wanted. She was friendly, honest, and most of all intelligent. After a couple of visits with her and some blood work she found a way to help me live a normal life with my symptoms. We also found out that I was seriously anemic but because of her astuteness I was able to avoid a blood transfusion. It was like an angel (my doctor) had heard my prayer and answered them overnight.
It only took her a few weeks to uncover the solution to my problem that I had been battling for many years. I am so grateful to her and her staff. I am not only grateful to them because I know longer have to give up a week of my life every month (I know there are a few of you that know what I mean) but because my doctor and her staff treated me as if I were one of their family members. They treated me with white glove treatment at each and every appointment.
I am so overwhelmed with joy that when I speak of my story I tear up. I suffered a long time and now I am pain free and happy thanks to my physician.
